V1sion – A Man With a Vision

Rusty|Vanilla|Long|Monthly A high ranking member of a secretive organization recently found himself on trial. The crime he’s been accused of? Attempting to reveal their hidden loot stash location to their enemies. News of the trial spread like wildfire as people jumped to either accuse or defend him.

How does one enforce the law with civility in a lawless, uncivilized land?

His name? V1sion.

One element that makes this trial so interesting is that V1sion voluntarily sent himself to the courthouse and said he was guilty, openly confessing everything. Such a display of honesty and integrity is rarely seen in court proceedings. When the court adjourned for a brief recess, I was able to request an interview with V1sion, and he eagerly agreed.

Scarrab: So first before we get to the good part, tell me a little bit about yourself. Your early career in Rust, or what your favorite things to do in the game are.

V1sion: OK, lets start. I am 15, love playing Rust. I used to play in the old days of Rust; I was really bad and young. I took a break, got back, and played with [REDACTED]. Made some friends who I still love ’till this day. It was a fun time holding a leadership position. Eventualy I started taking the game seriously and became pretty okay. I decided to come back to [REDACTED] as joke to **** around.

Some kids started threatening me and ****, someone trash talked me so I 3-0’d him in UKN. I always thought that [REDACTED] had all the power, and that was bull****. It’s suppose to be a self running organization but I felt that [REDACTED] had [more power than the rest of us]. So I got bored and tried to join the enemy team to raid y’all, ya know to say my goodbye to this currupted (sic) organization.

S: Ahh I see, so you believe there’s corruption running underneath the surface?

V: Yeah something like that.

S: When people were **** talking you, what did you want to see happen to them?

V: For minor things I just settled the issue in a 1v1, for more serious things they should be banned maybe, I don’t know.

S: Very nice. So you reached out to the organization’s enemies? Or did they ask you to join them?

V: I reached out to them. I got the idea from someone.

S: You could say that you and the person who gave you the idea had a “vision” for the future.

V: What?

S: Just a play on words because of your name.

V: Oh I get it. Hahahah.

S: What’s your favorite achievement or memory you have in Rust so far?

V: Probably the victory in an online raid against Ego. Where I did pretty well, I could say.

(At this point, Mr. Snow vaulted over the barricades and interrupted the interview with incoherent shouting.)

V: Ruining the interview, wow.

S: Mr. Snow, please hold your questions until the end of the interview.

ABOVE: Unsubstantiated rumors claim that “The Stash” is deep within a cave.

S: Now V1sion, some people may develop a bad opinion of you due to the fact that they see you as an “insider”. Do you have any words for these people?

V: I understand why a lot of people here don’t like me here, even before the insiding. Ya know, I also hate on the better, and everyone who truly knows me knows that I am a really good guy, and always there for the true ones.

(One of V1sion’s supporters broke through the crowd and grabbed the microphone.)

Banta: Yeah bro, he really is a good person.

V: Banta, ILY.

S: What are your plans for the future now that you’ve seemingly left your organization behind?

V: I mean I haven’t played with [REDACTED] for a while, I’ve been playing with another clan. Getting banned by a higher power instead of through the court system was always a dream of mine.

S: Ahh I see. Now obviously for security purposes, we don’t want to reveal anything about your new group.

S: Do you have anything that you’d like the public to know?

V: Yeah. Anyone down to UKN?

S: And just to confirm, you betrayed your group because you felt there was a secret mastermind running everything from the shadows?

V: Nah, the truth is I was bored. It wasn’t a nice thing to do. But I can get myself a Not Guilty verdict in this trial. I can get myself unbanned, my boy.

S: I’ve actually never been in court, myself.

V: I can change that for you.

(THE INTERVIEW WAS CUT SHORT, AS SCARRAB WAS SENT TO COURT)
