On 15th July 2026, the Government launched a surprise raid on the RustGalaxy Nexus Japan server in an attempt to liberate the RustGalaxy Pookie from a clan of “serial offline raiders“. The Pookie was being held on a fortified jungle island, which was stormed by as many as 10 Gov members, supported by a Scrap Helicopter, and the construction of a raid base.

The fighting was chaotic, as the raiders engaged the defenders inside and outside the cave. A specialist SWAT team navigated the cave tunnels and dealt with Shotgun Traps in order to locate the Pookie. As many as 144 rockets and 30 C4 charges were spent, partly to break through 5 layers of HQM walls, and destroy Auto Turrets on the way in.

Defenders replaced some Auto Turrets, which blocked the extraction of the Pookie, trapping some raiders inside the cave. The supporting raiders outside the cave helped spend the last of their rockets to destroy the final Auto Turrets. As a general emerged from the cave he called out “Let’s get to the helicopter, everybody dip – we just seized the gold medal“. The raiders were still under fire as they finished the mission.

The Government used the Nexus system to move the Pookie to RustGalaxy Paris, where it was secured in one of their many bases across RustGalaxy servers.
