The UFO Gallery was built on 10th Sept 2023 in the Government’s village on the US Rustinity 2x monthly large server. It housed nine paintings, including depictions of famous alien and UFO sightings, and the spooky mile-wide hill on mars that resembles a humanoid face. One was a recreation of a painting that was stolen on the previous wipe.

The structure was built on stilts (roughly) in the shape of a flying saucer that had landed on extended legs, and had a long ramp leading down from the exit (featuring an ominous red light under the steps) with a single window on the far end. The upkeep was cheap, at less than 2,000 resources per day (and mostly wood).

The location of the building was the north-east desert, far away from any spawn beach, so most of its visitors would be fellow villagers, and the odd raiding bandit that had trespassed into the village and poked their nose through the open doorway. The closest painting to the door was the Varginha Sighting – perhaps a surprising sight to bump into when entering a random building in Rust, especially at night when the intruder flicks a torch on…
