For several months starting in 2023, details of the Government’s monthly wipe history have gradually been sorted into a series of articles on the Rust Community Archive Steam group, which are connected by an index.
The basics of each month have been published, which include the name of the server that was played on, and an in-game screenshot to represent the wipe.
The Government’s Discord server was used as a source of information, as it contains years of comments and screenshots. Discord search terms such as “before: 2021-08-01” have been used to jump to the start of a wipe, where messages can be scrolled through to research noteworthy storylines.
