Following on from the Rust Roleplayer’s Last AK event, they launched a pirate-themed event from 4th to 7th December 2025. The map featured a series of islands, populated by a large number of factions that were each managed by a streamer.
There was an intention to use the Naval Update, but as Facepunch delayed the update, the event largely used tugboats instead. As it was agreed to use the primitive medieval mode, naval battles involved ship crews launching arrows and bee grenades at eachother.
The factions built elaborate wooden forts on their islands, and were encouraged to form alliances as they searched “for a treasure which gives them immunity to natural disasters” so that they could survive the final storm. After some mini-events, the location of these four relics were revealed. The factions battled for control of the relics, which ended up on four different islands.
It was said that eight factions ultimately survived the storm, while thirteen were lost. It had been a popular event, and involved an art competition, with the artworks being used for their merchandise. Through a combination of merch sales and VIP slots, they raised £15,200 for the Jingle Jam Charity.
