The Government’s island on RustGalaxy Montreal has been protected by border patrol agents, which frequently stop anyone trespassing on the island. In one recent case, a player tried to attack a Government villager, before agents trapped the attacker in an illegal shack, and ultimately broke the door down to bring the criminal to justice.
The little island is connected to the mainland by shallows, which is believed to be how most illegals reached the island. Some were said to arrive with guns from other servers, such as players using the server host’s Nexus system to transfer from RustGalaxy New York.
One intruder was tracked committing crimes all over the island – they reportedly stole honey from a beehive, and was found to have been littering, having strewn low value items around while making “goblin noises“, before then stealing a horse. One general commented: “they’re not visiting to see the art gallery, they’re here to cause trouble, and they should all go back to their own RustGalaxy servers“.
